Homestory Doors, a leader in the door replacement industry, is currently seeking a Sales Manager to oversee a hybrid of our Corporately owned locations, along with independently owned dealerships nationwide. The selected candidate will also provide support to our VP of Sales and our dealer network across the United States.

As the Sales Manager, your primary responsibility will be to manage the day-to-day Sales Operations of our Corporate offices and territories. This includes overseeing staff, facilitating growth and handling multiple projects. Previous experience in selling residential building products to independently-owned, local design-build businesses and managing front-line sales rep organizations would be advantageous. You must have experience managing and overseeing sales staff selling in-home. Construction and or door, frame & hardware background a plus.

Key duties for this role may include, but are not limited to:

 Training and mentoring new Design Consultants

 Reviewing and refining our sales strategy for individual stores

 Establishing sales targets for sales representatives

 Making decisions to increase profit margin and market share

 Negotiating sales agreements with customers

 Staying updated on marketing and door market trends

 Adjusting sales strategies as necessary to achieve targets

 Preparing and guiding sales for future growth

 Directly managing local sales staff in various geographic locations

 Marketing local Retail Partners

 Coordinating sales training for our National Dealer network with the VP of Sales

Preferred qualifications and experience for this position include:

 8 years of sales experience, including 3 years of in-home sales

 3 to 5 years of sales management experience

 3 years of experience in Store Management or Will Call Management

 A college degree, although relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree

 Results-oriented, energetic, competitive, self-driven, and passionate

 Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities

 Strong leadership skills to motivate and support staff

 Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and the capacity to collect and analyze data effectively

 Excellent verbal and written communication skills

 Proficiency in using Microsoft Office

 Willingness and ability to learn new technologies quickly

Success in this role will contribute to the expansion and increased market share of our business in the higher-quality and better-service product niche.

Education and Experience: Interested candidates should have demonstrated management experience and a proven ability to consistently increase sales in a similar market or industry. Previous experience as a Sales Director for a similar organization would be ideal. The ideal candidate will possess natural leadership skills that inspire sales team performance, along with a strong residential and commercial Outlook and an entrepreneurial approach to business development. Formal sales training and the ability to teach would be advantageous. A track record of achieving sales growth and delivering results aligned with business plans is essential.

This position requires some travel, as required, for work-related duties and training.
